…….But something underneath the fear is louder still.

you weren’t meant to keep shrinking your life to fit inside what’s safe.

This week’s Queen Coded is for Courtney.

 A woman who used to ask the people she loved and past relationships to come with her.

And one day she just decided to go alone.

No permission, no waiting on someone else’s timeline,

no shrinking the dream down to fit who was available to share it.

………She just went.

Betting on yourself doesn’t look like having it all figured out.

It looks like packing a bag with more faith than a plan.

It looks like walking away from the version of life everyone expected

and into the one only you could see.

…….And it terrifies people

not because it’s reckless, but because it’s honest.

You stopped waiting for permission.

This is what trusting the universe actually means.

Not sitting back and hoping things land in your lap,

but moving boldly, imperfectly and trusting that the door you walked through

wouldn’t have opened if it wasn’t yours to walk through.

The universe doesn’t reward people who play small and wait.

It meets the ones who move.

And somewhere between the hostels and the unfamiliar streets

and the strangers who become family for a night,

……..the healing starts.

Not because travel is magic

…….but because distance gives you room to finally hear yourself.

Every new place strips away one more layer of who you thought you had to be,

until what’s left is just you.

Whole. Untethered. Becoming.

This is what Queen Coded means to me

 highlighting the women who remind us we are not limited by someone else’s opinions,

or even our own old limitations.

We don’t have to wait for permission, for company, or for the “right time.”

…….We just have to decide.
